Terms of Service

By playing Fundub - as a guest or with an account - you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, don't use the game.

If you are under 18, you may only play with the permission of a parent or guardian, and Fundub is not intended for children under 13.

Accounts are created by signing in with Discord or Google. Keep that login secure - anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

One person, one account. Don't share it, sell it, or create extra accounts to get around a suspension or to inflate a leaderboard.

You can play as a guest instead, but guest progress is not saved and guests cannot report players, buy Dub Pro, or appear on leaderboards.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent.

You own what you make. Your takes, your username, your bio and anything you upload remain yours. These terms do not transfer ownership of them to us.

What you let us do. You give Fundub permission to store, process, grade and play back your recordings for the purpose of running the game - which includes playing your take to the other players in your room or match. That permission exists only to operate the service and ends when the content is deleted.

Uploads must be yours to upload. When you add a clip to a custom room, you confirm you have the right to use it. Don't upload material you do not own or have permission for.

We may remove content that breaks these terms, and we may keep moderation records of a removal.

The Fundub name, logo, artwork, profile cards, banners and the reference clips we supply belong to us or to our licensors. You may play with them in the game; you may not extract, redistribute or resell them.

If you believe something on Fundub infringes your rights, tell us through the Contact page with enough detail to find it, and we will review and remove it where the claim holds up.

Fundub is a game about doing silly voices in front of other people, so the bar is simple: don't make it unpleasant for anyone else. The following are not allowed, and each is something another player can report you for:

• Inappropriate username. Slurs, sexual content, or impersonation in the name.
• Inappropriate avatar or banner. Offensive or explicit profile imagery.
• Offensive bio. Hate speech, threats, or explicit text in the biography.
• Cheating or fake scores. Scores that can't have come from real attempts.
• Harassment. Targeted abuse during matches or in voice chat.
• Spam or advertising. Promotions, scams, or links to other services.

Also not allowed: interfering with the game's scoring or servers, automating play, scraping, attempting to access another player's account or data, or using Fundub to break the law.

Reporting requires an account, and the player you report is never told who reported them. Don't file reports you know to be false - that is itself a breach of these terms.

When a report is upheld, we take the lightest action that fits. There are three:

• Warning. Notifies the player. No access is removed. There is nothing to appeal.
• Suspension. Locks the account out for a set number of days. You can appeal it.
• Ban. Removes access permanently. Does not revoke Dub Pro. You can appeal it.

A suspension runs between 1 and 30 days. Anything longer is issued as a ban instead, so the decision is honest about what it is.

Suspensions and bans can be appealed by writing to appeals@fundub.app. A ban does not refund or revoke a Dub Pro purchase.

Severe cases - anything illegal, or content sexualising a minor - are actioned immediately and without a warning first.

Dub Pro is a one-time $5 lifetime unlock, not a subscription. There is no renewal, no billing period, and nothing to cancel.

It unlocks cosmetics - Pro banners, profile cards and the gold badge - and a larger clip-upload budget for custom rooms. It never buys points, score or ranking. Two identical takes earn the same score whether or not either player has Pro.

Payments are handled by PayPal. Your card details go to PayPal and never reach Fundub.

If a purchase doesn't unlock, contact us with your PayPal order id and we will fix it. Refund requests are handled case by case; a refunded purchase removes the Pro cosmetics.

Fundub is under active development. Modes marked Beta may behave unpredictably, and features, scoring weights, room limits and leaderboards can change or be removed.

We don't promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, outages at our hosting or database providers, or a bug can all make the game unavailable for a while.

We may reset or adjust scores and leaderboards where they were produced by a bug or by cheating.

Fundub is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. Grading is automated and approximate: a score is the algorithm's reading of your take, not an objective measure of your performance.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost progress, lost recordings, or anything arising from another player's conduct. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop playing at any time and delete your account from Settings.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, and we may discontinue the service. If we shut Fundub down, we will give notice in the game where we reasonably can.

How your data is collected and handled is covered separately in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Material changes will be announced in the game before they take effect, and continuing to play afterwards means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, and disputes will be handled by the courts there.
